It&#8217;s not <i>really<\/i> a robot (and it&#8217;s not only built with a hanger), it&#8217;s a little <a href=\"https:\/\/streettech.com\/robotbook\/walkerFinal1.htm\" target=\"new\">one-motor walking machine<\/a> (no sensors, no feedback), but the project does teach you about basic breadboarding, soldering, use of the BEAM Bicore control circuit, how to hack a servo motor, and other deep geek mojo you can apply to building actual bots. <\/p>\n<p> This is a version of the project that was in my book, <a href=\"https:\/\/streettech.com\/robotbook\/\" target=\"new\">Absolute Beginner&#8217;s Guide to Building Robots<\/a>, and pictured in <a href=\"http:\/\/makezine.com\/06\/\" target=\"new\">Make Vol. 6<\/a> and on the issue&#8217;s Web page.
