He&#8217;s put up a <a href=\"http:\/\/steampunkworkshop.com\/electro-mach.shtml\" target=\"new\">two-part tutorial<\/a> detailing the process, first trying his hand at a three-layer &#8220;clockwork trilobite&#8221; (which turned out looking a little like the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Antikythera_mechanism\" target=\"new\">Antikythera Mechanism<\/a>), then trying to make individual parts using a thinner brass stock. <\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" align=\"right\" valign=\"top\" src=\"https:\/\/streettech.com\/storypics\/nixiePOV.jpg\">Herr von Slatt is also responsible for sending Boing Boing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/jwhilde\/sets\/72157594378057889\/\" target=\"new\">the link<\/a> to the Flickr set for jonny5rd&#8217;s awesome retro-chic Persistence of Vision (POV) viewer, built from a US$5 POV toy, an X-Acto knife case, and a few other misc parts.
